KONSTANTIN VASIL’EVICH FROLOV, University Professor and Full Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), has in his longtime career held a number of outstanding working posts and honorary duties: Director of Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Director of the biggest institute of mechanical engineering “A.A. Blagonravov” of Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Academiciansecretary of the Division for Mechanics and Process Control of the Soviet (Russian) Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Council for Mechanical Engineering and Technological Processes of RAS, and Vice-president of RAS.
